RUPTURED NARRATIVES
Mixed media drawings inspired by art history
2014 - Ongoing

Using characters borrowed from drawings across different styles and time periods, this series tries to create alternate narratives. By placing characters in completely different contexts and completely different spaces and situations, their whole life story and character gains a brand new imagining; some works also lending to political statements regarding feminism and women’s role in society in general.
